Classes- Our instructors are offering lots of classes featuring techniques to include in your projects that will bring versatility and individuality to your knitting and crocheting.
Yarns- Expect new yarns for the spring to arrive around February, including a luscious pure silk from Debbie Bliss. As of this writing, the yarn reps are just scheduling their visits with the spring lines so even we don't know what to expect.
Books-New books are arriving regularly since we are on auto-ship programs with most craft book publishers.
Accessories- We found a couple of sources for magnetic closures and handles for bags.
• Beginner is the individual who has had no experience whatsoever.
• Advanced Beginner or Beginning Intermediate is close to synonymous. This is the individual who has learned the very basics, but has not done enough projects to do work independently. This includes: knit, purl, cast on, bind off, increases, decreases, rib stitch and basic terminology.
• Intermediate is the individual who has mastered the basics, done a few projects, and is ready to take on independent projects such as changing patterns, designing, etc.
As always, if you have a strong interest in a particular class, and it doesn't fit into your schedule, please ask. We will schedule classes at $7/hour for two or more individuals. Private lessons are $15/hour.
